  • I am a recently graduated Media Production student seeking to gain work experience. During my course I have received comprehensive training in various aspects of media creation, including camera operation, video editing, sound design, journalistic research and storytelling, scriptwriting and project management, equipping me with the essential skills to succeed in the dynamic fields of both journalism and content creation/ production.

    I am incredibly passionate about the creative arts, particularly film and literature. Working in either of these fields would fulfil a lifelong dream for me. I am eager to demonstrate my strong work ethic and sociable nature in an environment that offers me the chance to acquire hands-on experience and continue expanding my knowledge and skills.

  • -Experience in social media campaigns and management across platforms including X, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

    -Training and practical experience in the creation of multimedia content, spanning diverse formats and styles, encompassing but not limited to video, audio, graphics, and interactive media.

    -Understanding and basic training in on and off page SEO.

    -Passion for and training in writing, allowing me to produce copywriting of a high standard including B2B, digital and brand copy.

    -I have cultivated research and investigative skills while pursuing news stories.

    -Basic understanding of ethics and law for journalism & best practice guidelines for social media.

    -I have developed and been trained in effective interviewing techniques to extract information from sources, ask probing questions, and conduct insightful discussions.

    -Journalistic writing ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging news articles, features, and reports that effectively convey information to their intended audiences.

    -Experience with public speaking and presenting allowing me to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and senior management.

    -Proficiency in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in relation to postproduction. (E.G Premier pro and Audition)

    =Technical ability and confidence with elementary forms of audio and camera equipment.

  • Intern – Future Kings branding agency - Feb 2022 - March 2022

    Whilst here I primarily assisted with backend content input into a new website build on WordPress via the CMS, as well as assisted with some social media management and content creation.

    Intern – The Adam Smith Institute – May 2018 – June 2018

    This institute, ranked first among independent think tanks worldwide by The University of Pennsylvania, offered me invaluable learning opportunities. I contributed to administrative tasks and content entry, with a focus on proofreading, formatting, and managing daily blogs. This culminated in the publication of my own blog on their website.

    Bar Manager/Social Media Manager – Revolution Bristol - Nov 2022 – Dec 2022

    Hired as deputy manager due to my extensive hospitality experience which was only expanded on due to such high-volume service. While there I was also asked to manage their social media platforms.

    Bartender/Food Waiter – The Old Ship, The Greyhound, The Shakespeare - Sept 2018 – Dec 2023

    I have held a variety of roles in all types of hospitality including cocktail training and silver service.

    Volunteer – Richmond Vets - Jul 2016 - present

    I have volunteered at my local veterinarian on and off, which has been a massively rewarding experience.

  • -Captained school and local rugby teams. Additionally, I studied karate for over 12 years and am currently a black belt.

    -My love of reading and writing has led me to submit many short fiction stories during school and I have had blogs and news articles published to the UWE Bower Ashton news site plus a blog to the Adam Smith Institute site.

    -Achieved bronze level in the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Chief Scout’s Silver Award.

    -I am developing a passion for piano and really enjoy theatre, having performed in multiple plays at school and consistently visiting and helping with local and Uni drama productions.

    -My long-standing love of comedy has led me to begin performing stand-up at open mic nights, which has been one of the most humbling yet rewarding experiences of my life.
